On April 9, a group of about 80 guests officially experienced the first tourism stimulus tour in many years in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the first tourism product created by an official alliance between three travel companies including Vinagroup International Company, Nature Tourist Company and Kiwi Travel Company.
This tourism product is one of the experiential activities after the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival recently held in Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to promote tourism products and destinations of the city to residents and tourists, as well as stimulate tourism demand.
After many years, Ho Chi Minh City is restarting tourism stimulus alliances with the combination of travel companies and the Department of Tourism in the role of connecting travel businesses with service providers to get the best prices for tourists.
Tourists will experience the Ho Chi Minh City Water bus, experience the spa and visit Thien Hau Pagoda, then enjoy Dimsum at a Chinese restaurant in District 5... Notably, the stimulus tour is sold at a "huge" discount of VND 299,000/person, instead of the price after the stimulus period of VND 699,000 or the normal tour price of VND 899,000/person.
According to the reporter of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , many tourists in the tour group this morning said they live in Tan Phu district, district 12, Binh Chanh district... and have never experienced the river bus.
Tourists excited about stimulus tour in Ho Chi Minh City
"I live and work in Ho Chi Minh City but have never taken the river bus, although I have heard a lot about it. A few days ago, I went to the Tourism Festival and saw an advertisement for a stimulus tour with a big discount, so I bought it to experience it. I thought it was interesting to travel around the city and combine medical tourism with spa tourism," said Ms. Huynh Hong Lan, a resident of Tan Phu district.
Mr. Tran Thanh Vu, Director of Vinagroup Company, said that the strong discount is part of the campaign to launch a tourism stimulus program of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism. The product is an opportunity for people to know more about the city's typical tourism products.
Mr. Pham Quy Huy, Director of Kiwi Travel Company, said that not only serving customers who are city residents, the tourism stimulus alliance products also target groups of customers from provinces and cities coming to Ho Chi Minh City and international customers. The tour products received very positive feedback from tourists after the first day of experience.
