Toyota Camry 2024 test run in Thailand, waiting for the day to return to Vietnam

The 2024 Toyota Camry was carefully hidden during its test run in Thailand, sparking speculation about the official launch date of this model in the Southeast Asian market. The new Toyota Camry is expected to be launched in October this year. However, there is currently no official information from Toyota to confirm this.

Although the 2024 Toyota Camry has been launched in the US and China, it is still unclear which version will be introduced in Southeast Asia. These two versions have certain differences to suit the tastes of each region. Specifically, the Chinese version has a single-color front bumper and dark-colored cladding on the trunk lid, while the US version has a simpler design with a body-colored interface.

The notable point of the Toyota Camry 2024 in Southeast Asia is the hybrid powertrain. The car is equipped with a 2.5L engine combined with an electric motor, for a total capacity of 225 horsepower on the front-wheel drive version and 232 horsepower on the 2-wheel drive version. This is a big step forward in technology, bringing high performance and fuel economy.

In addition to the Camry, Toyota is also likely to introduce another popular hybrid model, the Prius, to users in Thailand. Recently, this model was also caught being tested on the street.

In Vietnam, Toyota Camry is still the leading model in the D-class sedan segment with prices ranging from 1.105 to 1.495 billion VND. The car offers three different engine options, including a hybrid version, to meet the diverse needs of consumers.
