(QBĐT) - In the series of activities of "Dong Hoi Culture - Tourism Week 2024", on the afternoon of April 26, at the Walking Street, the Women's Union of Dong Hoi City organized the opening ceremony of the "Homeland Products" booth. Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, and unions at the provincial and city levels.
Representatives of Dong Hoi City leaders and the Provincial Women's Union awarded first prize to participating units.
At a corner of the Walking Street, the Organizing Committee arranged 16 booths with typical products and typical dishes displayed and introduced by officials and members of the Women's Union of 15 communes and wards in the area. Including agricultural products, aquatic products, seafood, handicrafts, household appliances, OCOP products of 8 units: Thuan Duc, Nghia Ninh, Bac Nghia, Duc Ninh, Bac Ly, Bao Ninh, Quang Phu, Loc Ninh; 7 culinary booths, including typical dishes of Dong Hoi, from the units: Dong Son, Duc Ninh Dong, Phu Hai, Dong Hai, Hai Thanh, Dong Phu, Nam Ly.

Through organizing exhibition booths to promote and introduce OCOP products and traditional local specialties to people and tourists, with the aim of preserving and promoting traditional values and unique cultural features of Dong Hoi people.
"Homeland products" are displayed and traded by Women's Unions of communes and wards.
Support women in starting businesses; introduce potentials, strengths, promote agricultural products, handicrafts, and typical services of Dong Hoi city people, contributing to supporting women in economic development.

Create opportunities for production, business and service establishments to interact, meet and exchange experiences; promote, introduce and build product and goods brands; create conditions for people in the city and neighboring areas to buy goods and products with guaranteed quality.
