On January 17, at Phan Huy Ich Primary School, the Department of Education and Training of Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City organized the exchange festival "Spring of Connection - Tet of Love".
The festival had nearly 1,000 primary school students from 6 districts: Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Phu Nhuan, Tan Binh, Tan Phu and District 12 participating.

In the exhibition area, there are not only pictures for students to visit and learn about the culture and customs of Vietnamese people in many regions during Tet, but also an exhibition area for Tet greeting cards with unique and joyful wishes that make many students admire.

After the tour, elementary school students competed to become child artisans, experienced making figurines, writing calligraphy, asking for spring greetings, etc.
Bao Ngoc, a fourth grader at Kim Dong Primary School in District 12, said: "I really enjoy making figurines. This is an experience that requires not only dexterity but also patience.
I really admire the artisans who make to he figurines. From just pieces of clay, they create eye-catching and extremely cute products. I hope there will be more festivals like this so that we can understand more about our national traditions."

The area that attracts the most students is the sports area. Even though they have to wait in long lines, many students still want to play shuttlecock throwing, blindfolded pig beating, go to the Tet market, play hopscotch, bamboo dance, etc.
Quang Thuan - a first grader at Hung Vuong Primary School, Tan Binh District - smiled brightly when he hit the pig for the first time: "During Tet, I don't like taking pictures, but I like playing folk games like this. It's very interesting, especially when I get a gift after playing."

Traditional Tet is an occasion to honor traditional cultural values.
Speaking at the "Spring of Connection - Tet of Love" exchange festival, Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh Khoa, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Tan Binh District, emphasized:
"The festival is not only an opportunity for students and teachers of primary schools in professional cluster 4 (because the area is quite large and has different characteristics, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City is divided into many professional clusters for schools to conveniently exchange and learn from each other, professional cluster 4 includes 6 districts, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Phu Nhuan, Tan Binh, Tan Phu and District 12 - PV) to exchange and learn from each other.
The games and experiential activities of the festival also aim to help students understand and appreciate the traditional cultural values of the nation. The traditional Tet holiday is the most favorable occasion to educate students and honor traditional cultural values," said Mr. Khoa.
