On May 17, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that after Hanoi Police cracked down on a case of manufacturing and trading 100 tons of fake drugs, fake functional foods and fake medical equipment, the Ho Chi Minh City health sector urgently reviewed, inspected and tightened the management process of drugs, functional foods and medical equipment in the area.

These facilities must also fully connect drug purchase and sale data to the National Pharmaceutical Database System.
