The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has approved the plan to organize a Korean language training program for city officials, civil servants, and public employees.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has recently sent a document to the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Foreign Affairs regarding the organization of a Korean language training program for city officials, civil servants, and public employees.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City approved the proposal of the Department of Internal Affairs regarding the organization of a Korean language training program for city officials, civil servants, and public employees. The program will be organized by the Korean Language Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City assigned the Department of Internal Affairs to take the lead, in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs and other relevant agencies and units, in organizing the implementation of the program across departments, agencies, and localities, creating conditions for sending officials, civil servants, and public employees to participate in the program, ensuring effectiveness, practicality, and compliance with regulations.

Previously, the Korean Language Center in Ho Chi Minh City (under the Korean Ministry of Education ) sent an open letter to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs regarding the recruitment of officials, civil servants, and public employees to participate in a Korean language course.
Accordingly, the Korean Language Center in Ho Chi Minh City will provide beginner-level Korean language skills combined with an introduction to the unique aspects of Korean culture.
This organization will cover the course fees.
The course consists of 60 hours of instruction, delivered by a team of highly qualified and experienced Vietnamese teachers.
Students will study using the standard curriculum of the Korean Ministry of Education and specialized materials compiled by the teachers.
To receive a certificate of completion, learners must attend at least 70% of the total course duration. In addition, learners must achieve a score of 70 or higher on the final exam.
The final exam will use the official exam questions compiled by the Korean Ministry of Education.
