According to the report, in Ho Chi Minh City, there are a total of 193 houses eligible for housing policy support for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs. Of these, 162 houses have been completed; 11 are under construction; 5 have started construction; 15 houses do not need repairs. For the 15 cases that do not need repairs, they are those who have submitted a request not to repair the house to the People's Committee of the ward or commune, or do not receive and return the money to the state....
According to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, in the process of implementing this policy, it has received consensus on policies and guidelines, active coordination from departments, branches, unions, and support from organizations and individuals who have supported housing repairs for policy families from socialized funding sources.
In the coming time, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to review and develop plans and solutions to continue directing the implementation in the area in accordance with the 2-level local government model. At the same time, strengthen communication work to promptly spread typical examples, good and creative practices, create consensus among the entire political system and people; proactively grasp the situation, promptly remove and resolve difficulties and problems in the implementation process in the locality.
“HCMC proposes to increase the level of financial support to match actual costs and ensure construction quality, especially in cases of serious degradation. At the same time, there needs to be a specific and unified allocation of funding from a single source to facilitate monitoring, disbursement and completion of settlement procedures,” the HCMC People’s Committee proposed.
