Son Thuy Commune was merged from 3 communes (Ba Khan, Tan Mai, Phuc San), is home to Muong and Thai ethnic people. Currently, some households in the lake area have implemented the homestay model, contributing to creating more experiential products to attract tourists, while introducing and promoting local culture and tourism. In recent years, the activities of eco-resorts in the lake area have strongly recovered. Some investors continue to research and survey the type of resort tourism in the area. To meet the needs of tourists for more experiences, destinations are actively building, renewing products, and strengthening connections between routes and points. Resorts and hotels in the tourist area attract visitors all year round, with room occupancy rates ranging from 50 - 70% on odd days and 90 - 100% on weekends.
