In the first quarter of 2025, the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production in Tran Yen district reached 450.2 billion VND, equal to 25.7% of the plan.

In the first quarter of 2025, the overall situation of agricultural, forestry and fishery production in Tran Yen district was relatively stable, with no major epidemics occurring. The whole district planted 2,180 hectares of winter-spring rice, equal to 104% of the plan; 1,951 hectares of vegetables, equal to 103.7% of the plan.
The district has established specialized raw material areas for key products, and the district's specialties have been expanded and developed in association with production value chains. In the first quarter of 2025, the district has newly planted and renovated 116.8 hectares of mulberry.
Of which, 72.8 hectares were newly planted, equal to 72.8% of the plan, 44 hectares were renovated and replaced, with silkworm cocoon output reaching 80.53 tons; 33 hectares of newly planted and renovated fruit trees were planted, equal to 66% of the plan. Fruit tree output was 1,700 tons, equal to 20% of the plan; continued to focus on taking care of the existing tea area, tea output in the first 3 months of the year reached 300 tons, equal to 6.7% of the plan.
The district currently has a total herd of 93,283 main livestock, equal to 91% of the plan; the output of fresh meat of all kinds is 3,862 tons, equal to 30% of the plan. Of which, the output of main livestock is 2,354.5 tons, equal to 29% of the plan.
Disease prevention work on aquaculture species was strengthened, total aquatic product output reached 439 tons, equal to 22% of the plan; aquaculture area was maintained at 490 hectares, equal to 100% of the plan; cage fish farming reached 79 cages, equal to 100% of the plan.
In addition, the district has directed the implementation of forest planting, management, exploitation, use and protection, the forest planting area reached 2,380 hectares, equal to 82.1% of the plan; newly planted 74.9 hectares of Bat Do bamboo, equal to 30% of the plan.
In the coming time, Tran Yen district will continue to restructure the economy in the direction of development, in accordance with the potential and advantages of the district. Direct the effective implementation of policies to support the development of agricultural, forestry and fishery production in the province.
At the same time, promote and mobilize people and businesses to invest, intensify cultivation, improve productivity, quality and output of key crops in the area, continue to expand and develop specialized raw material areas for key products and specialties, contributing to promoting local economic development.
