Equipping knowledge and social work skills for nearly 100 medical staff

On August 18 and 19, the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Social Work organized a training conference on knowledge and skills in social work for nearly 100 social workers at 41 hospitals, medical centers and social assistance facilities in the province.

At the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Tien Nam - Head of the Department of Social Work, University of Public Health, conveyed basic contents such as: Instructions on the provisions of Decree No. 110, dated August 30, 2024 of the Government on social work; instructions on the practice of providing social work services in medical examination and treatment facilities according to Circular No. 51 dated December 31, 2024 of the Ministry of Health regulating the implementation of social work in medical examination and treatment facilities; mobilization, coordination and connection of resources in medical examination and treatment facilities... In addition, delegates also discussed and presented situations that occurred in practice and how to handle them; exchanged difficulties and problems and were answered by the relevant agencies, guided to remove them, and applied them correctly according to the regulations...
