Equip knowledge on poverty reduction work

(Baohatinh.vn) - The training program in Son Giang commune (Ha Tinh) aims to provide skills and knowledge for officials working on poverty reduction at the grassroots level to support people to escape poverty sustainably.

On the morning of October 2, the Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with the People's Committee of Son Giang commune to organize a training conference to improve the capacity of cadres working on poverty reduction at the grassroots level in 2025 on reviewing poor households, near-poor households, households working in agriculture , forestry, fishery, salt production with average living standards, and low-income workers.

At the conference, delegates listened to lecturers present documents regulating multidimensional poverty standards for the period 2021 - 2025; instructions on methods for reviewing and classifying poor households; determining income of households working in agriculture, forestry, fishery, and salt production with average living standards for the period 2022 - 2025; and instructions on how to make reporting forms.

During one session, 150 people who are officials working on poverty reduction at the grassroots level were equipped with and agreed on knowledge for reviewing the process, methods, and criteria for reviewing poor households. At the same time, the sense of responsibility was enhanced, ensuring that the review process was democratic, public, fair, objective, and accurate. The conference also answered difficulties and problems in the implementation process at the grassroots level.

The training course aims to provide skills and knowledge for officials working on poverty reduction at the grassroots level; methods for developing plans and organizing the implementation of the contents of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in association with the practical situation in the locality. From there, it helps officials working on poverty reduction to support and help poor households to escape poverty, limit re-poverty; ensure the implementation of the program with the right objectives, targets, effectively and sustainably.
