This has evolved into a partnership between national teams and designers over time, producing outfits that combine culture and high fashion . Famous athletes and designers collaborate to produce outfits that reflect national history, current fashion trends and the comfort of the athletes.

Mongolian team

With their traditional Mongolian costume, called the deel, Team Mongolia deserves an Olympic fashion award. The costume is intricately designed, well-preserved, simple and very elegant. The deel, with its elaborate design and rich history, represents Mongolian culture in a modern, fashionable way. The Mongolian uniform stands out because of the way the designers skillfully combined heritage with modern style.

Haiti Team

The uniform is not only an important expression of Haitian culture, but also represents high fashion. Renowned Haitian artist Philippe Dodard created the artwork for the Haitian uniform. The intricate patterns are colorful and reminiscent of Haiti’s rich creative past. The Haitian uniform is a wearable work of art, not just a piece of clothing. The artist and designer worked together to create a uniform that is both striking and culturally appropriate.

Czech Republic Team

Simply stylish. According to designer Jan Cery, the Czech Republic’s Olympic uniforms were inspired by Czech painter and artist Vladimir Boudnik. The outfits are stylish, historic and runway-worthy in every way. The fusion of past and present in the design honors the artist while highlighting the Czech Republic’s dedication to high fashion.

Taiwan Team

At first glance, this may seem like a campaign for a high-end fashion brand, but these are Team Taiwan's Olympic uniforms. These outfits were eye-catching and made a big impression at the opening ceremony. These uniforms are elegantly high-fashion with clean lines and smart designs. Team Taiwan's approach to their outfits proves that sportswear can be both fashionable and practical.

France team

The French team looked fantastic in their elegant navy blue suits, exuding sophistication and luxury. It’s a great example of how simplicity can still be beautiful, and it’s a fun way to dress up a basic uniform. The French uniform is a strong contender in the fashion world because of its simple yet effective design.

Experts say the uniforms are fresh, with the signature navy blue of the French flag and a gradient lapel. Carine Roitfeld says the team wanted to create a more classic, elegant outfit for special moments, so they thought of Le Smoking - the classic suit by the legendary Saint Laurent. The outfit is paired with loafers that are a nod to the French streetwear style designed by Stéphane Ashpool.

Philippines team

Francis Libiran, a Filipino fashion designer, created a stunning barong called “Sinag”. It is truly the most luxurious approach to attracting attention at the Olympics with this delicate and intricate outfit. The delicate motifs and meticulous stitching pay tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines while making a strong statement on a global scale.

Türkiye team

Sports meets style meets Olympics. Incorporating light blue to symbolize peace , Team Türkiye and designer Vakko used colors found on the flag. This intentional use of color uses fashion to convey a powerful message. Türkiye's uniforms are unique because they combine modern and traditional design features.

Australian team

The Australian team’s 2024 Olympic Opening Ceremony uniforms will be designed by local brand Sportscraft. The main colour palette of the uniforms will be green, yellow and white. Sportscraft will provide a crisp green blazer, a blue and white pleated skirt and linen shorts. The lining of the jacket will be printed with the names of all 301 Australian Olympic champions.
