Dao Tan Award presented to 5 art units and 15 artists

People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui - President of Vietnam Stage Artists Association and Meritorious Artist Le Chuc presented the Dao Tan award to Artist Binh Tinh (Huynh Long Group, Ho Chi Minh City)

On the morning of May 29, the Dao Tan Award Ceremony organized by the Institute for Research on Preservation and Promotion of National Culture and the Vietnam Culture Magazine was solemnly held at the Hall of the Guest House of the Ministry of National Defense - Hanoi. Many artists, researchers, intellectuals and the press came to cheer and congratulate the 5 art units and 15 individuals who were awarded.

Artists were happy to meet Professor Hoang Chuong again.

Also attending the award ceremony was Professor Hoang Chuong - founder of the Dao Tan Award. He has been seriously ill for many years, although he is confined to a wheelchair, he still attended and congratulated the artists and art units that were awarded this time.

Ke Gam village Tuong troupe, Xuan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province.

Tuong Club of Thach Loi commune, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province.

Outstanding artists:

Late sculptor Nguyen Sang with statues of famous Vietnamese people and heroic Vietnamese mothers.

Musician Dinh Tham - author of two excellent songs "Tham Mai Tinh Anh" and "Don't Think I'll Be Inspired" - composed from the life and thoughts of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Poet Tran Nhuan Minh with his critical research books: "Time Speaks", "Searching for the Truth", "Literary Dialogue" (co-author Nguyen Duc Tung).

Playwright Hoang Thanh Du with the script "The 72nd Petition", a script about President Ho Chi Minh.

Associate Professor, Doctor, painter Doan Thi Tinh with research works: "Vietnamese costumes past and present", "Mask makeup for Tuong theater", "Vietnamese theater fine arts".

Artist Phan Thanh Liem, an excellent creator and practitioner of miniature water puppetry at home and abroad for the past 20 years.

Artist Binh Tinh, the artist who overcame all difficulties and painful losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, maintained the existence and development of the Huynh Long Ancient Tuong Opera Troupe in Ho Chi Minh City.
