This morning, January 20, in Hai Lang district and Quang Tri town, Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, Phu Nhuan Branch, Ho Chi Minh City ( Agribank Phu Nhuan Branch) and Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union organized the "Sowing the Seeds of Knowledge" scholarship award ceremony.

In 2023, the “Sowing Seeds of Knowledge” scholarship will award 200 scholarships worth a total of 400 million VND to 200 disadvantaged students in Quang Tri province. Of which, 120 scholarships will be awarded in Hai Lang district and 80 in Quang Tri town. Each scholarship is worth 2 million VND, including a bicycle and school supplies.
In addition, Agribank Phu Nhuan branch also mobilized Nam Son Steel Corporation to support an additional 150 million VND to support gifts of necessities for students receiving scholarships of the program. Through these meaningful gifts, the organizers hope to add more motivation, help students have more favorable conditions to go to school; contribute to sharing difficulties withthe education sector.
It is known that the “Sowing Seeds of Knowledge” program is an activity under the “For a Developing Tomorrow” program of Tuoi Tre Newspaper. From 2018 to present, the “Sowing Seeds of Knowledge” program has awarded more than 3,765 scholarships, worth more than 7.7 billion VND to students in difficult circumstances in many provinces and cities across the country.
In 2023 alone, the "Sowing Seeds of Knowledge" program will award 800 scholarships, worth more than 1.6 billion VND, to students in difficult circumstances in remote, isolated, and disadvantaged areas in 4 provinces: Tuyen Quang, Nam Dinh, Phu Yen and Quang Tri.
