Awarding scholarships worth 100 million VND to godchildren and children of Navy officers and soldiers

The Naval Region 2 Command recently held a meeting, exchanged and awarded scholarships to children of officers and soldiers with good academic achievements and orphaned children of fishermen sponsored by Naval Region 2, in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

This is a meaningful activity demonstrating the deep concern of the Party Committee of the Naval Region 2 Command to promptly encourage children from difficult family circumstances who have the will to excel in their studies; children with excellent academic achievements in provincial, city and national excellent student competitions and children of fishermen sponsored by units in Region 2; contributing to motivating them to continue to strive and study to achieve higher achievements in the future.

At the meeting, 100 scholarships, worth 100 million VND, were awarded to the children.

Children of fishermen sponsored by Region 2 receive scholarships in the program.

Also on this occasion, Tam Tai Viet Fund coordinated with the Navy Region 2 Command to sponsor a social security package for activities under the program "Vietnam Navy as a support for fishermen to go offshore"; the activity "Navy sponsors fishermen's children" with a total amount of 500 million VND.
