Long Son Cement grants scholarships, helps poor students go to school

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On August 7, Long Son Cement Company coordinated with distributors Hong Phuong Company Limited, Long Huong Company Limited and Thanh Hoa Province's Education Promotion Association to award scholarships to disadvantaged students in the province on the occasion of the new school year 2025-2026. This is also the 10th consecutive year the program has been implemented.

Over the years, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education has closely and effectively coordinated with organizations and units to develop the movement to promote learning and talent, and build a learning society. In the 2025-2026 school year, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education coordinated with Long Son Cement Company and distributors Hong Phuong Company Limited and Long Huong Company Limited to award 120 scholarships, each worth 9 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances in the province, contributing to encouraging, sharing difficulties, and supporting them on the path of learning, constantly striving to realize their beautiful dreams and ambitions.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Vuong Van Viet, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Province's Association for the Promotion of Education, said: "This is the 10th consecutive year that the Association for the Promotion of Education has coordinated with Long Son Cement Company to organize this program. What is valuable is that over the years, Long Son Cement Company and Long Son Cement distributors have expanded the beneficiaries and increased the value of each scholarship. Currently, the Association is coordinating with Long Son Cement Company to make a list of 100 students who have received scholarships from 2016 to present with especially difficult circumstances to award scholarships until the end of grade 12. These meaningful scholarships have been and are contributing to helping students with difficult circumstances go to school, nurturing in them love and determination to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies."
