Kind greetings and small gifts, but containing sincere feelings, help patients ease the pain of illness, feel warmer when recognized and cared for. This is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping them to have more confidence in the treatment process.
Patient Trinh Thi Tuyet, 53 years old, is being treated for ovarian cancer at the Internal Medicine Department 1 of K Hospital. She shared that she has 30 years of teaching experience in Quang Ninh . Ms. Tuyet has lung cancer and is being treated at the hospital and is receiving chemotherapy.

“Today, my fellow patients and I received more words of encouragement and sharing from everyone. We are also teachers who have worked for many years in different schools and localities, but everyone is very touched by the attention of the hospital leaders. This is not only a material gift but also shows the sharing, understanding, and respect for those who work in the teaching profession like us, but more importantly, the companionship when we are in the most difficult period. I am very touched, very grateful and will always remember this sharing. My fellow patients and I will try to get treatment to soon return to the school we have been attached to for many years. Every day and every hour, I still cherish that belief during the past 7 months of treatment,” Ms. Tuyet confided.
Professor Le Van Quang - Director of K Hospital said that in recent years, K Hospital has always focused on paying gratitude with practical actions. This is also an opportunity to educate the younger generation, cadres, doctors, and medical staff of K Hospital about the tradition of the nation, and is a motivation for generations of teachers in the hospital to cultivate, practice, and study continuously to always be a shining example for young doctors to follow./.
