Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Duong Van Trang attended and chaired the conference. At the Conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on early retirement for Mr. Nguyen Trung Hai, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Bui Thai Trong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises; Mr. Le Quang Thoi, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hon, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises; approved the Decisions of the Provincial People's Committee on early retirement to enjoy social insurance benefits according to Decree No. 177, Decree No. 178 for 6 Directors and 7 Deputy Directors including the Department of Home Affairs, Construction, Planning and Investment, Natural Resources and Environment, Science and Technology, Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Provincial Cooperative Union. The conference announced the Decisions of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on ending the activities of 3 Party Executive Committees and 7 Party delegations; announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on establishing the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee directly under the Provincial Party Executive Committee; appointed Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Tuy to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Tuan to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2020-2025 and 2025-2030 terms; at the same time, announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on merging the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee; appointed Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Sa Thay District Party Committee to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee; announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on merging Kon Tum Newspaper, the Provincial Radio and Television Station into the Kon Tum Provincial Media Center; Appoint Mr. Phan Cu, Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, to the position of Director of the Kon Tum Provincial Media Center.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee announced the decision to establish 6 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, including the Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Department of Finance, Department of Science and Technology; Department of Home Affairs; approved the Decisions on transfer, assignment and appointment of officials; in which, Mr. Vo Anh Tuan, Chairman of Ia H'Drai District People's Committee was appointed as Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Quang Thach, Secretary of Kon Ray District Party Committee was appointed as Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Mr. Nguyen Tan Liem, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was appointed as Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Phan Muoi, Director of the Department of Transport was appointed as Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Nguyen Van Dieu, Director of the Department of Finance was appointed as Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Hoang Trung Thong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province was appointed as Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Resolutely implementing the reorganization of the local political system to ensure compliance with the direction and orientation of the Central Government, up to now, Kon Tum province has reduced 10 party executive committees and party delegations; 01 Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc; 08 provincial-level agencies and units, 25 district-level agencies; basically completing the tasks of reorganization of the provincial political system according to the set plan.

Speaking at the Conference, Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Duong Van Trang requested Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, units, and localities to focus on directing the drastic implementation of tasks, ensuring that agencies, units, and organizations from the province to the grassroots level will operate effectively and efficiently after the reorganization, without interruption of work; continue to do a good job of reviewing, screening, and arranging cadres according to job positions, ensuring the right selection of qualified, capable, prestigious, dedicated, and responsible cadres in the new organization and apparatus.
