Awarding nearly 350 million VND to excellent students and teachers

On the morning of May 17, Nguyen Du Scholarship Fund of Ha Tinh province held a ceremony to reward excellent students and teachers with high achievements in fostering excellent students in the 2024-2025 school year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Ha Tinh has 97 students winning prizes at the national high school excellent student competition, including 4 first prizes; 20 second prizes; 38 third prizes and 34 consolation prizes. In addition to the number of students studying in schools in the province, there are also 11 students who have achieved national excellent student awards in districts in the province currently studying at Vinh University High School for the Gifted, Nghe An province. In addition, the whole province also has 3,139 students winning prizes at provincial excellent student competitions for grade 9 and high school.

At the ceremony, Nguyen Du Scholarship Fund awarded 97 students who won prizes in the national excellent student competition, 117 students who won first prizes in the provincial excellent student competition from Ha Tinh Specialized High School, Cam Binh High School, Phan Dinh Phung High School, Le Quy Don High School and 10 teachers with achievements in guiding and nurturing excellent students at the national level with a total amount of nearly 350 million VND.

Nguyen Du Scholarship and Talent Promotion Fund was established by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province with main funding from Lien Viet Post Bank ( LPBank ) - Now Loc Phat Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank, Him Lam Group and many other benefactors. With the principle of preserving the principal, the fund management board annually uses the interest to award scholarships to students, teachers with difficult circumstances who have achieved good and excellent results in studying and training; rewards students and teachers with excellent achievements in provincial and national excellent student competitions, students with high results in university and college entrance exams.

Over 10 years of operation, the fund has awarded more than 7 billion VND to 11,551 students and teachers.
