On November 1, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a conference to summarize the Program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic".
Implementing the Program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, all levels of Trade Unions in the province actively implemented and received enthusiastic participation from cadres, union members, workers and civil servants throughout the province.
After nearly 2 years of implementation, the Program has achieved many impressive results, exceeding the planned targets.
As of 24:00 on August 31, 2023, the whole province had 3,283 people registered to participate, with 19,330 initiatives updated to the Program, reaching 184% of the entire Program's target (exceeding 8,830 initiatives).
Of which, there are 19,011 valid initiatives, 319 initiatives are under consideration, ranking 20/82 nationwide, ranking first in the Emulation Cluster of the Federation of Labor of provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region in terms of the number of registered initiatives, with a total value of 4,563 billion VND.
9/13 District and City Labor Federations and Industry Trade Unions have completed and exceeded the provincial Labor Federation's plan targets.
Many units have demonstrated an enthusiastic and dynamic competitive spirit, implementing drastic and specific measures, closely following daily developments to achieve high results.
Some units completed the program early such as Kim Son District Labor Federation, Gia Vien District Labor Federation, Yen Khanh District Labor Federation, Hoa Lu District Labor Federation...
The content of the initiatives is diverse in different fields of work and tasks such as education, health, agriculture , industry, COVID-19 prevention, etc.

According to the assessment, the initiatives have demonstrated the creativity of workers during the complicated epidemic period, many initiatives are highly adaptable to the new normal context, contributing significantly to stabilizing and restoring production and business activities of enterprises and implementing political tasks of agencies and units.
Typical initiatives include: "Improving the cooling method for paint mixing booths (mini rooms) to save electricity"; "Application of immunohistochemical staining techniques to identify two groups of breast carcinomas with positive and negative hormone receptors at Ninh Binh Provincial General Hospital"; "Development of areas for growing indigenous specialty trees (Bui Ky Lao trees) in Ky Phu commune, Nho Quan district"; "Some solutions to improve the application of information technology in management, teaching and learning to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic at Yen Phong Primary School"...
At the conference, many collectives and individuals were awarded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Confederation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in implementing the Program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic".
