Over 6.1 billion VND donated to support flood victims

Responding to the call of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), from October 7 to 4:00 p.m. on October 10, agencies, units, enterprises, organizations and individuals in the province donated over 6.1 billion VND to the account of the Provincial Relief Mobilization Fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, to support people in the provinces affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command supports flood victims.

In recent days, localities, units and enterprises in the province have simultaneously organized a launching ceremony to support people to overcome the damage caused by storms No. 10 and 11. In addition to gifts and cash, units and agencies have supported people with at least one day's salary.

On October 10, right before the online conference was held at 100 locations in the province to study, learn, disseminate, propagate and deploy the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress organized by the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province launched a movement to support people in provinces affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

Civil servants, employees and party members in Yen Tu ward support people in flood-affected areas.

Previously, the Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee allocated 25 billion VND from the Provincial Relief Mobilization Fund and transported 16 tons of necessities from socialized sources to promptly send to people in flooded areas. Specifically, 15 billion VND was supported for Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Cao Bang provinces; 10 billion VND for 4 central provinces affected by storm No. 10 (Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri). The Provincial Red Cross and units also organized a working group to directly hand over 16 tons of necessities to support people in areas damaged by storm No. 10 in Tan An commune (Nghe An province) and Tuong Linh commune (Thanh Hoa province).

Mong Cai 1 Ward receives support for flood victims from local units.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Duc commune received over 177 million VND to support people in provinces affected by storms No. 10 and 11.
