On the construction site of Dong Dang-Tra Linh highway

The Dong Dang-Tra Linh Expressway Project (Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces) is being accelerated, despite many disadvantages due to weather, complex geology and large workload. At the construction site, there are more than 3,300 workers, 1,468 pieces of equipment, deploying 287 teams to work "3 shifts, 4 teams" on the entire route.

Contractors mobilized all labor and machinery to ensure progress to the finish line by the end of 2025.

Phase 1 has dug 16.7/23 million m³, filled 8.26/14.6 million m³; completed 357/447 culverts, 56/62 bridges. The output value reached 4,108 billion VND, equal to 36% of the contract and 62% of the volume of traffic in 2025. The highway is more than 121 km long, starting at Tan Thanh border gate (Lang Son), ending at Chi Thao commune ( Cao Bang ), invested according to TCVN 5729-2012 standards, design speed 80 km/h, according to the plan, it will be traffic by December 19, 2025.

The key project is expected to shorten the distance, open up new development space for the northeastern region, and at the same time strengthen economic , defense and security connectivity in border areas.

The Dong Dang-Tra Linh expressway project is divided into two investment phases, with a total investment of nearly 23,000 billion VND.
