273 more foreign investors were granted securities trading codes in August

Vietnam Securities Depository (VSDC) said that in August, 273 more foreign investors were granted securities trading codes.

Specifically, in August 2025, VSDC granted securities trading codes to 273 foreign investors and economic organizations with foreign investment owning over 50% of charter capital (24 organizations and 249 individuals).

In addition, VSDC approved information changes for 68 foreign investors (12 organizations and 56 individuals), and canceled securities trading codes for 10 foreign investors (5 organizations and 5 individuals).

Previously, according to statistics from the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC), in the second quarter of 2025, VSDC granted securities trading codes to 572 foreign investors (including 58 organizations and 514 individuals).

Cancel securities trading codes for 11 foreign investors (including 9 organizations and 2 individuals).

According to VSDC, the current number of securities trading codes is 50,670 codes (6,228 organizations and 44,442 individuals).
