With the theme "Unlocking the power of artificial intelligence and big data - The key to sustainable development", the conference was held in the context of AI becoming a strategic driving force in the global digital transformation process.
At the event, experts said that, around the world , businesses are applying AI to create breakthrough products and services, optimize productivity, reduce costs and move towards green transformation goals.
In Vietnam, many technology companies have developed multi-industry AI solutions, but the practical application of new solutions in traditional businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises is still limited.
Many difficulties often come from the lack of a suitable implementation roadmap, lack of data on market requirements, and especially lack of internal implementation capacity.

At the conference, Ms. Ho Thi Quyen, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Trade and Investment Promotion, said that Vietnam has a great opportunity to combine AI and big data in its digital economic development strategy.
However, it requires synchronous coordination between businesses, the state and research organizations to realize this potential.
“This conference is not only a place to present new technologies but also a space for real connections between policy makers, technology developers and businesses, especially manufacturing businesses that need digital transformation and green transformation but still face many obstacles in accessing AI technology,” Ms. Ho Thi Quyen emphasized.
Through the discussions, experts said that AI and big data promote innovation, ensure national competitiveness and aim for sustainable development.
This is an important next step in Ho Chi Minh City's series of activities to position the city as a leading center for innovation and green transformation in the region.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Trade and Investment Promotion signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with partners related to training programs for businesses.
These cooperation contents aim to improve management capacity, operation and implementation of green-sustainable-digital production and business activities.
