The online exhibition introduces more than 300 documents and images from the National Archives Center, the Historical Archives Center and Dien Bien Provincial Museum, the Institute of Han-Nom Studies, the French Ministry of Defense Archives and a number of agencies and units of Dien Bien province, reflecting the history of Dien Bien province from its early days to the present, including many documents published for the first time.

Through archival documents, with the application of technology to enhance the viewer's sensory experience, bring the public back to the historical roots and help the public have a more comprehensive and clearer view of the history of formation and development of the land rich in cultural, patriotic and revolutionary traditions.
Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Duy Thang emphasized: Although Dien Bien is a remote province with many difficulties, the online exhibition has made a breakthrough in applying technology to promote the value of archival documents that not every locality can do. This is a new, creative way of doing things, in line with the general trend of society, especially for young people. This is very commendable, hoping that Dien Bien will promote it even better in the next period. The exhibition is also a very meaningful cultural product, with high educational value, hoping to arouse the pride of all people in the province and across the country about the beautiful historical land of Dien Bien.
To promote the value of archival documents, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do requested all levels, sectors, localities, agencies, organizations, first of all the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with departments, sectors and press and media agencies to continue to introduce and widely promote the exhibition to all students, people of all walks of life and tourists. The Department of Home Affairs needs to have measures to receive, store and preserve images, documents, materials and artifacts about "Dien Bien in the course of history through archival documents" in the document storage system at the Provincial Historical Archives Center; continue to collect and collect rare documents to enrich the archival documents, supplement the archives of the province and all sectors and fields fully and comprehensively; At the same time, focus on effectively implementing the project of digitizing provincial documents, building a database to promote and introduce Dien Bien to domestic and international friends and preserve and pass it on to future generations, as well as effectively implementing the program "Publish national archives to serve the construction, socio-economic development, and protection of national sovereignty".
