Exhibition featuring images of dragons to welcome the Year of the Dragon 2024.

Lunar New Year 2024 Year of the Dragon decorations with the wish "May all your wishes come true" on Hang Ma Street.

The festival includes numerous exhibitions and displays, among which is a tribute to the image of the dragon - a sacred symbol associated with the "descendants of dragons and fairies" of the Vietnamese people.

The exhibition "Dance of the Hundred Dragons" features 100 unique works, showcasing dragon motifs in ceramic relief, recreating pure Vietnamese traditional culture, and expressing humanity's yearning for peace in the face of nature's power.

The "Dance of the Hundred Dragons" consists of three parts: Dragons sculpted in relief on various large-sized vases; "Dragon Transformation" through stylized depictions of the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) associated with four types of plants – pine, chrysanthemum, bamboo, and plum; and finally, dragon sculptures carrying messages, expressing aspirations for peace and wishing for good fortune and favorable circumstances in the new year of the Dragon (Giáp Thìn).

Alongside this is the "Transforming into a Dragon" art exhibition, showcasing the largest collection of dragon paintings on palm leaf material in Vietnam by artist Hoang Truc; dragon paintings by many artists; and images of dragons on traditional and modern Vietnamese ao dai dresses.

The "Heritage Market" exhibition showcases products from localities developing cultural heritage tourism ; lotus and dragon calligraphy welcoming the Year of the Dragon is a creative way to honor the nation's cultural heritage.

In addition, there is an exhibition showcasing ceramics with the theme "Essence from Heaven and Earth". Among them, the Huong Canh pottery village ( Vinh Phuc province ) presents characteristic rough, rustic stoneware products with a burnt earthenware color. These include famous, long-standing household ceramics, handcrafted art ceramics, and construction ceramics with rich and diverse reliefs and decorative motifs.

The Giang Cao Pottery Village Club displays and introduces a diverse range of unique products in various types and colors. Many pottery lines are attracting customers both domestically and internationally, such as imitation stone glaze pottery, crackle glaze pottery, shrinkage glaze pottery, jade glaze pottery, etc., featured on vases, statues, animal figurines, ceramic paintings, and religious artifacts; and pottery applied to architecture and fine arts, notably yin-yang roof tiles and ceramic mosaic art (the art of assembling ceramic pieces).

Alongside this is the display of Chu Dau pottery ( Hai Duong province ), showcasing its perfect beauty in terms of shape, glaze, patterns, and decorative motifs... harmoniously and exquisitely painted, carved, and embossed. The patterns and motifs on Chu Dau pottery strongly reflect the cultural identity of the Vietnamese nation...

"The Year of the Dragon Spring Festival - 2024" is a cultural event celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), commemorating the country's renewal, and welcoming the Year of the Dragon. The event contributes to introducing and honoring the values ​​of traditional cultural features during the Lunar New Year of the 54 ethnic groups across the country.
