
Tet 2024 decoration accessories with the wish "Everything goes as you wish" on Hang Ma street.
Within the framework of the festival, many exhibitions and displays took place, including one honoring the image of the dragon - a sacred symbol associated with the origin of "descendants of the dragon and fairies" of the Vietnamese people.
In particular, the exhibition "Bach Long Dance" displays 100 unique works, depicting dragon mascots in ceramic reliefs, recreating pure Vietnamese traditional culture, expressing people's desire for peace before the power of nature.
“The Dance of Hundred Dragons” consists of three parts: Dragons embossed on different vase shapes with many large sizes. Next is “Dragon transformation” by stylizing the figure through the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, winter associated with four types of trees - pine, chrysanthemum, bamboo, apricot. Finally, the dragon sculpture carries a message, expressing the desire for peace, sending wishes for good luck and good things “heavenly time, favorable location” in the new year of Giap Thin.
Along with that is the exhibition of paintings “Dragon Transformation”, displaying the largest collection of dragon paintings on areca spathe in Vietnam by artist Hoang Truc; dragon paintings by many artists; images of dragons on Vietnamese ao dai past and present.
The “Heritage Fair” exhibition displays products from localities developing cultural heritage tourism ; lotus and dragon calligraphy welcomes the Year of the Dragon as a creative way to honor national cultural heritage.
Next to that is the exhibition introducing ceramics with the theme "Quintessence from heaven and earth". In which, Huong Canh pottery village ( Vinh Phuc ) introduces typical raw, natural ceramic products with burnt earthen color. These are famous household ceramic products, handicraft ceramics and construction ceramics with rich and diverse reliefs and decorative motifs.
Giang Cao Ceramic Village Club displays and introduces products with diverse types, colors, and uniqueness. Many types of ceramics are attracting domestic and foreign customers such as imitation stone glaze, crackle glaze, shrink glaze, jade glaze... displayed on vases, statues, animal figures, ceramic paintings, worship items; ceramics applied to architecture and fine arts, notably yin-yang tiles and ceramic mosaic art (the art of assembling ceramic pieces).
Along with that is the display of Chu Dau ceramic products ( Hai Duong ) with perfect beauty from appearance, glaze, motifs, decorative patterns... painted, engraved, painted, embossed harmoniously and delicately. The motifs and patterns on Chu Dau ceramics strongly express the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people...
“Giap Thin Spring Festival - 2024” is a cultural activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), celebrate the country's renewal, and welcome the Giap Thin spring. The event contributes to introducing and honoring the values of traditional cultural beauty during the traditional Tet holiday of the community of 54 ethnic groups in all regions of the country.
