Organizing Youth Art Festival

This is an activity organized to honor the fine art works of young Vietnamese painters, sculptors, and artists from 18 to 35 years old; summarize the creative work process, compose, publish, and introduce typical and outstanding works of fine art of painting, graphics, sculpture, installation art, performance art, and other forms of contemporary art in 2 years (2022-2024).

The Young Fine Arts Festival is also an activity demonstrating the Party and State's concern for the Vietnamese fine arts sector in general and for young painters, sculptors and artists nationwide; at the same time, meeting the people's increasing needs for spiritual life and enjoyment of culture and art, contributing to socio -economic development.

This is also an opportunity to expand cultural exchanges and share experiences; reflect on the difficulties, advantages, perspectives, and creative viewpoints in the creative work of young Vietnamese painters, sculptors, and artists in the development of Vietnamese fine arts and the cause of national construction and defense.

The 7th Young Fine Arts Festival in 2024 will be held nationwide. The Organizing Committee plans to select about 200-250 fine arts works by young Vietnamese painters, sculptors, and artists aged 18 to 35 to participate. The launch time is from the first quarter to the fourth quarter of 2024.

The Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions is responsible for organizing and coordinating with relevant units to propagate and disseminate information on the media to bring information about the "Young Fine Arts Festival 2024" to painters, sculptors, and young artists to respond and participate; and for art lovers nationwide to know and enjoy. The Department coordinates to organize the collection of works, establish an Art Council to select works for display and judge awards...

The Organizing Committee plans to award 3 First Prizes, 6 Second Prizes, 9 Third Prizes, and 10 Encouragement Prizes for outstanding works. In addition, the Organizing Committee also plans to award 2 equal prizes for works that are graduation projects of art schools.

The award ceremony and exhibition opening are expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2024.
