(ABO) On the afternoon of July 28, Comrade Tran Van Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, and the working delegation came to work with the Standing Committee of the Nhi Quy Ward Party Committee on the results of the work of perfecting and stabilizing the organizational apparatus, ensuring material facilities and orientations, scenarios for socio-economic growth, national defense - security, and Party building work.

Immediately after coming into operation under the 2-level local government model, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhi Quy Ward have deployed, disseminated, and propagated the Party and State's policies and guidelines and new regulations to cadres, party members, and people; announced the new office, introduced the leadership positions of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and specialized departments and offices to assist the Party Committee of the Ward to facilitate, promptly resolve, and serve the legitimate rights and interests of the people in the area.

When established, Nhi Quy Ward Party Committee had 25 branches and affiliated party committees with 692 party members. Preparations for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term have been focused on.

The operation of the Ward Public Administration Service Center has initially brought about efficiency. From July 1st to now, the Public Administration Service Center has received and resolved 676 records in various fields under its authority.

Regarding the implementation of socio -economic development tasks, in the first 6 months of 2025, the ward has drastically and synchronously implemented the directions of the Central and the province; promptly issued documents to effectively organize the implementation of socio -economic development tasks and rearrange the apparatus according to the new policy.

The key tasks that have been focused on include: Removing difficulties for production and business, administrative reform, ensuring social security, maintaining national defense and security; social order and safety... have had clear changes, creating an important foundation for completing the socio-economic development goals of the locality.

As of June 30, 2025, 7/13 targets have been achieved and exceeded; 6/13 targets are being implemented and are expected to be achieved and exceeded by the end of the year.

The ward has effectively implemented policies to support and develop enterprises and business households; actively promoted and encouraged individual business households to convert into enterprises. Up to now, there are over 54 enterprises and 1,400 business households in the area, creating stable jobs for the locality.

Total budget revenue from the local economy as of July 23 reached 4,143 billion VND, reaching 61.26% of the estimate; budget expenditures were balanced according to regulations, practicing thrift. At the same time, maintenance and patching of district roads 53, 54, My Trang road, Tran Hung road... were carried out to serve the travel needs of the people, ensuring traffic safety.

Social security and welfare work is given attention, gratitude activities, mobilizing social resources to care for the lives of meritorious people, policy beneficiaries, and social beneficiaries are carried out fully and promptly.

The ward completed the target of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for 11 poor and near-poor households (7 newly built houses, 4 in need of repair) with a budget of 540 million VND, reaching 100% of the plan. The political security situation is stable, social order is maintained...

The leaders and departments of the ward also raised difficulties and obstacles and proposed and recommended many issues as well as development orientations in the coming time, specifically: Quickly implementing digital transformation, focusing on urban beautification, developing small and medium enterprises, urban development planning, etc.

At the meeting, representatives of provincial departments and branches also answered local recommendations; at the same time, guided and proposed solutions to help localities overcome difficulties and carry out tasks in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive results that the Party Committee, government and people of Nhi Quy ward have achieved in the past time.

Comrade Tran Van Dung suggested that in the coming time: Local Party committees and authorities at all levels need to continue to promote the spirit of initiative, maintain discipline and administrative discipline; at the same time, pay attention to consolidating the organizational apparatus, improving the capacity of the staff to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The ward continues to promote propaganda work and political and ideological orientation for cadres, civil servants and public employees in the spirit of responsibility to serve the people and businesses; well prepare for the Party Congress of the ward for the term 2025 - 2030.

The ward must arrange adequate facilities at the Public Administration Service Center, and staff must be responsible and enthusiastic to serve the people and businesses.

The ward reviews the works and projects in the area to have a plan to implement them in accordance with regulations; continue to promote the achievements, exploit the potential advantages of the locality.
