The high tide also caused over 12.4km of embankment to overflow (Quoi Thien commune: 200m, An Binh commune: 12.2km); 18 embankment locations were eroded, with a total length of 572m (Quoi Thien commune: 4 landslide locations, total length of 315m; An Binh commune: 14 landslide locations, total length of 257m). Estimated damage was about 222.5 million VND.

To overcome the damage caused by high tides, the People's Committees of communes have focused on directing the organization of high tide prevention; assigning staff to stay in key areas to support the recovery when situations arise. For the sections of embankments that have collapsed, the locality has mobilized local forces to promptly repair them according to the "4 on-site" principle. For the sections of roads and embankments that have overflowed, mainly using soil sacks to temporarily prevent overflow, and cannot be upgraded due to the need for time and funding.

Localities have also sent documents requesting financial support to reinforce and repair landslide sites to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, to promptly synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and financial support to help localities proactively carry out repair work, ensuring long-term safety and stability.
