On October 16, Comrade Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors, had a meeting and worked with the working delegation of Vietnam - Korean Culture Center Company Limited (VKCC) led by Mr. Kim Dae Jong - Director of the Company.

VKCC Company Limited is a cultural, trade and investment promotion unit between Vietnam and Korea, with the goal of enhancing cooperation and friendly exchange between the two countries.

This working session between the company and Vinh Long province aims to learn and discuss the possibility of long-term cooperation between Vinh Long province and Korean localities in the fields of culture, trade and investment.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi informed the working delegation about the potential, strengths and fields in which the province is calling for investment.

Representatives of VKCC Company Limited discussed the cooperation potential between Vinh Long province and Korean localities.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of VKCC Company Limited to visit and work with Vinh Long province. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that out of the total 176 FDI projects operating in the province, Korea contributed 36 projects, with a total registered investment capital of over 354 million USD, ranking third in total investment capital in the province, with projects mainly in the fields of processing industry, component manufacturing and light industries.

Based on the potential and strengths of Vinh Long province and other localities and Korean partners, the province calls for investment in the following fields: infrastructure development of industrial parks and clusters; processing industry, supporting industry; high-tech agriculture ; culture - tourism; trade - services; education - training; environment; renewable energy; logistics and urban - housing.

Mr. Kim Dae Jong - Director of VKCC Company Limited presented a souvenir to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that through today's working session with the company and the upcoming investment and trade promotion trip to Korea, many cooperation opportunities will be opened up, bringing practical results in the coming time.
