Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - former Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On the morning of October 17, the Hue City Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work. Attending the conference were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung and leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and Hue City, Dak Lak.

At the conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee announced that Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee was appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung (former Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee) to hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking on accepting his new assignment, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung said that he will do his best to contribute to building Hue city into a rich, civilized city, worthy of a centrally-run city in the new era of the nation.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung was born on April 19, 1973, in Nghe An province. He has a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in law.

During his career, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung held many positions in Dak Nong such as Deputy Director of the Department of Justice (2007), Standing Deputy Secretary of the Krong No District Party Committee (2008), Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office (2010), Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee (2013-2018), Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee (2018-2019). In November 2020, he was elected Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee.

In May 2021, the Politburo assigned him to hold the position of Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.

At the 13th Congress, he was elected to the Party Central Committee. At the 1st Congress of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, held on September 30, he was appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.
