Socialized resources are the lever for the sports movement.

Realizing the importance of socialization in sports , not only helping to reduce the budget burden but also creating conditions to promote the comprehensive and professional development of the sports movement, Lang Son province has taken many measures to attract the participation of many organizations, businesses, and sponsors inside and outside the province. For this reason, many amateur athletes have had more conditions to practice and compete, thereby spreading and improving the quality of the mass sports movement in the province.

XHH has contributed to strongly promoting the sports movement in the province.

According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , the province currently has over 1,100 sports clubs, 100% of which are maintained by socialized resources with an amount of up to billions of VND. From contributions from individuals, the companionship of businesses or social organizations.

In addition to maintaining activities from socialized sources, sports clubs also regularly organize competitions and exchanges. Every year, the whole province has over 500 sports tournaments organized in the form of partial or full socialization.

In addition, the province currently has 5 provincial-level sports associations and federations (Football Federation, Tennis Federation, Badminton Federation, Table Tennis Federation and Golf Association). These are the core forces that work with the provincial Sports Department to effectively organize and manage sports activities according to the socialization policy.

In recent times, the province's sports federations and associations have made continuous efforts to promote socialization in organizing activities. Specifically, mobilizing sports clubs to proactively socialize investment and equip facilities to ensure regular training needs and meet the organization of competitions. Currently, the province has nearly 500 tennis courts, artificial turf football fields, pickleball courts and many other sports facilities invested from socialized sources with average construction costs of 50 million VND or more, meeting the training needs of local people.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son province, Duong Minh Tue: The state budget can only guarantee a number of sports activities, therefore, the support of people and businesses through socialization is an important factor contributing to creating a strong "vitality" for the sports movement in the whole province. This is an inevitable trend, in line with the Party and State's policy on building a cultural life and improving the stature of Vietnamese people.

In practice, the socialization of sports brings benefits to all three parties: the State reduces the burden on the budget, businesses promote their brands through sponsorship, and people have the opportunity to participate in many quality playgrounds. This shows that socialization has been and is being implemented effectively, affirming its role as an important driving force for the mass sports movement to develop widely. For example, if in 2022, the proportion of people regularly practicing sports out of the total population reached 30%, now this proportion has reached about 38%; the proportion of sports families has also increased from 16% (in 2022) to nearly 32%.

Many families proactively fund their children's participation in sports competitions.

People join hands to develop the sports movement

In Lang Son, many families are willing to spend a fixed amount of money each year to let their children learn a favorite sport. The thorough investment of parents has not only helped the children satisfy their passion but also become athletes participating in the national team to achieve results. The children, along with studying at school, are registered to continue participating in training at clubs; after that, the parents will take care of the expenses for their children to participate in competitions so that they can practice and improve their competition skills.

In recent years, not only chess but also many other sports such as badminton, table tennis, dance sports, karate... on average each year the whole province has more than 10 amateur athlete groups with clubs, parents or the athletes themselves covering the costs to participate in open, regional and national tournaments. The medals that the athletes have won are not only a personal joy but also a confirmation of the effectiveness of socialized sports activities.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Na Duong commune, said: From 2020 until now, I have been playing volleyball with other members of Binh Minh Club. Na Duong Coal Company has created conditions for a free practice field. Every year, we only need to contribute about 1 million VND/person to the club fund to maintain activities. Every year, we regularly organize exchange tournaments in the form of completely socialized. Thanks to that, I have the opportunity to practice, improve my skills and am often selected as an athlete to participate in volleyball tournaments and win achievements.

Obviously, when every citizen is willing to join hands, every club and business proactively contributes, sports will not only be a place to exercise but also a space to connect the community, spreading a positive lifestyle. That is also the foundation for Lang Son to build a healthy cultural life, aiming to improve people's stature and physical strength, contributing to the sustainable development of the province in the new period.
