Lam Dong police request valuation of a series of land lots in criminal cases

This is the latest move by the Investigation Police Agency, Lam Dong Provincial Police to determine the extent of damage to cases being handled based on crime reports.

11 plots of land at Sung Nhon Market are being requested to be appraised by the Investigation Police Agency.

The Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police has sent a request to competent valuation units to participate in valuing land use rights at many plots of land in the four cases under investigation.

Lam Dong Province's Council for Asset Valuation in Criminal Proceedings has forwarded 4 valuation requests to a consulting unit with valuation function.

Specifically, 11 plots of land at the central market of Sung Nhon commune (village 2, old Sung Nhon commune, now Nam Thanh commune, Lam Dong) were valued. Of which, 3 plots interspersed with rows of kiosks that previously existed were valued according to market prices and land rental prices for each plot calculated from January 2021 for a period of 20 years; 8 vacant plots above that have not yet built kiosks were also valued similarly with the 20-year rental price and current market price.

Land plot No. 162, map sheet 41, area 1,138m² in Ham Thang ward, purpose of use is land for perennial crops, requested to be valued at market price at the time of April 2025.

13 households with land on the route of the Hong Liem 3 Solar Power Plant project (Binh Son village, Song Luy commune) were asked to evaluate the amount of money corresponding to the land area damaged during the construction of upgrading and repairing the road, according to both market price and State price at the time of August 2020.

56 plots of agricultural and non-agricultural land in 3 communes: Thien Nghiep (now Mui Ne ward), Tien Loi (now Tuyen Quang commune), Phong Nam (now Binh Thuan ward), with a total area of ​​22,374.8m². The valuation was carried out at the time the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City (old) signed the decision to allow the change of land use purpose, according to two prices: land price regulated by the State and market price.

This valuation is to determine the extent of damage, ensure fairness and transparency in the application of criminal law, as well as support the handling of evidence and compensation for damages, if any. This is an important step to consolidate the investigation conclusions and ensure the rights of related parties.
