This is the 220th white chrysanthemum that the Program has supported over the past 22 years.

Thao Uyen has a particularly difficult situation: her father died early, her mother is seriously ill; the family's finances and her education depend solely on her grandmother's noodle stall. The burden is compounded when her grandmother and mother are forced to send Uyen's 5-year-old sister to the temple because they can no longer care for her.

Currently, Uyen’s mother’s condition is getting worse and worse, but the family cannot afford treatment. The fear of losing a loved one and having to drop out of school always weighs heavily on the little student as her grandmother gets weaker and weaker.

Despite difficult circumstances, Thao Uyen still maintains her desire to go to school, tries hard to study and achieves good results, is loved by teachers and friends.

Faced with his situation, the local government, organizations and Lat Primary School always pay attention and create practical support conditions so that he can continue studying.

To continue accompanying Thao Uyen to continue writing her dream of going to school, the White Daisy Program of Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television in collaboration with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Youth Union, and Lam Dong Provincial Education Promotion Association have supported and empowered her to continue writing her dream of going to school.

At the exchange program, the character Hoa Cuc Trang Thao Uyen received attention, help and support from local authorities, agencies, departments, branches, organizations, the companionship and sharing of philanthropists, along with teachers, parents and students of Lat Commune Primary School.

The total amount of support and assistance from the White Daisy Program that Thao Uyen received was more than 100 million VND. Of which, Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television alone mobilized donors to support more than 70 million VND. In particular, some of the White Daisy characters who were previously supported, now grown up, also expressed their love and sent Thao Uyen meaningful gifts.
