Accompanying the people to build rural infrastructure
In remote communes and ethnic minority areas, the image of police officers and soldiers working with people pouring concrete on roads, installing electricity and security cameras has become familiar.

Responding to the new rural construction movement, police units have mobilized thousands of working days to help villages and hamlets complete infrastructure criteria. Muddy dirt roads have been replaced by clean concrete roads thanks to the joint efforts of the police force, the government and the people.
In many areas with complicated security and order, the "Security Light" model and the surveillance camera system installed by the local police have shown remarkable effectiveness. Roads are lit, petty theft and law violations have significantly decreased, people feel secure in their production, and children go to school more conveniently and safely.
From grassroots mobilization activities, the Provincial Police also called on businesses and philanthropists to support funding for the construction of security and civil works, creating a foundation for sustainable change in rural areas.
Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses
Along with infrastructure support, Lam Dong Provincial Police identified the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households and policy households as an important task to consolidate the "people's hearts and minds". In 2025, the force will deploy a peak of "56 days of construction" with the goal of completing hundreds of houses before the rainy season.

On November 20, 2025, in Truong Xuan commune, the Provincial Police coordinated with local authorities to hand over 6 gratitude houses to poor households and policy households who are ethnic minorities. These houses started construction on October 7, 2025 under difficult construction conditions due to prolonged rain, complex terrain and increased material costs.
However, with the spirit of “overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain, only moving forward, not retreating”, Truong Xuan Commune Police together with organizations and grassroots forces mobilized hundreds of working days to demolish old houses, transport materials and speed up the progress. Many local businesses also supported material discounts, helping to reduce counterpart costs for poor households.
By November 12, 2025, all 6 houses were completed as planned. The new homes were solidly built, suitable for living conditions, ensuring safety against harsh weather. For many families, this is a great joy that they never dared to imagine. Ms. H'Nhien, a household receiving a new house, emotionally shared that her family had lived in a dilapidated wooden house for many years and was always worried every rainy season. Now, having a solid house helps them feel secure in doing business and striving to escape poverty.

“My family has lived in a dilapidated wooden house for many years, and we were very afraid during the rainy season. Now that the police and the government have helped us build a new, solid house, I am truly grateful. With a solid house like this, we can work with peace of mind and try our best to escape poverty.”
Ms. H'Nhien, one of the households receiving houses in Truong Xuan commune, shared
According to the plan, in this construction phase, the Provincial Police will build a total of 14 houses in border communes - where many poor households and ethnic minorities live. Each house is designed to be durable, suitable for customs, creating conditions for people to settle down and develop the economy .
Since the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses was launched, Lam Dong Provincial Police have mobilized and built 563 houses. Of these, 500 houses are funded by the Ministry of Public Security , 49 houses are funded by the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group, 14 houses are funded by the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association and NovaSports Joint Stock Company.
