Duc Quang launched 60 peak days of new rural construction

On the morning of November 20, the People's Committee of Duc Quang commune held a launching ceremony for the 60-day peak period of implementing the new rural construction movement in 2025.

In recent times, the movement to build new rural areas in Duc Quang commune has had many positive changes; infrastructure has been invested, people's lives have gradually improved, and the rural appearance has become more and more prosperous. However, due to the impact of natural disasters and storms and floods, many criteria have been affected, especially those related to: traffic, cultural houses, income, household gardens, environment, rural digital transformation...

The peak emulation period for building new rural areas in Duc Quang commune takes place from November 15, 2025 to January 15, 2026 with the goal of mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, organizations, unions and people of all walks of life to beautify the landscape; improve the quality and consolidate the new rural criteria; thereby, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

The leaders of Duc Quang commune directly inspect, supervise and guide the construction of new rural areas in the area.

During this peak campaign, 23 villages in the area will develop a specific action plan, focusing on key tasks such as: disseminating the meaning of the action program to build new rural areas to the people; renovating model residential areas; planting new and trimming green hedges; protecting the environment, creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape; building a cultural life, civilized lifestyle; renovating the system of cultural houses, sports grounds, and auxiliary works....

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of Duc Quang Commune People's Committee Hoang Xuan Hung affirmed that the new rural movement must be implemented practically and effectively, following the motto "people know, people discuss, people contribute, people do, people manage and people benefit". The local government will always accompany, have financial support policies, and develop plans suitable for each unit.

People from 23/23 villages in the commune started to carry out the tasks immediately after the launching ceremony.

Every week, hamlets and villages meet to evaluate the effectiveness, and through the Zalo group, they connect to convey information and receive opinions from the people. With the spirit of "determination - consensus - action"; the cadres, party members and people of Duc Quang commune strive to complete the local goal of meeting the model new rural standards, sustainable development in the period 2025 - 2030.
