Competition to promote energy saving and efficiency in households in 2025

The contest includes 3 teams from the Women's Associations: Van Trai, Vien Thanh 3, and Hamlet 6.

Teams participate in 3 mandatory competitions: Greeting, multiple choice test, talent.

Coming to the contest, the contestants prepared costumes and props to perform the greeting and talent contests to increase their persuasiveness and appeal. Many teams invested effort, intelligence and practice time to prepare their performances meticulously and thoughtfully.

Speaking at the competition, Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan - Director of the Center for Support and Consulting for Industry and Trade Development emphasized: Energy is closely linked to our daily lives, greatly affecting the socio -economic development of the country. Saving electricity is one of the most effective solutions to help reduce pressure on the exploitation and supply of energy, reduce economic pressure on families, protect the environment and reduce greenhouse gas emissions; contributing to the implementation of Vietnam's commitment to the COP 26 Climate Change Conference, reducing greenhouse gas emissions to Net zero by 2050.

In Nghe An, with the attention and direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Industry and Trade and the coordination of localities, energy saving programs have achieved many positive results. Many agencies, schools, businesses and households have applied solutions to use energy effectively, contributing to reducing living costs, protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development.

Today's contest in Minh Hop commune is one of the specific activities to bring knowledge about energy saving to the grassroots, to each household.

The contest aims to form the habit of using energy economically and efficiently in all activities, making energy saving a regular activity in all fields. From there, there will be strong changes in actions on using energy economically and efficiently in the community, towards the goal of green growth and sustainable development.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Vien Thanh 3 branch, the second prize to Hamlet 6 branch and the third prize to Van Trai branch.

On this occasion, Nghe An Electricity presented 10 gifts to support families in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
