Propaganda of Electricity Law, Law on Using Energy Economically and Efficiently

On the morning of December 5, the Department of Industry and Trade of Tay Ninh province organized a workshop to propagate the Electricity Law; Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy; environmental protection and disseminate knowledge, and provide training on preparing greenhouse gas inventory reports.

Attending the workshop were representatives of provincial departments, branches, People's Committees of communes and wards; representatives of Tay Ninh Electricity Company and experts and speakers in the fields of electricity, energy and environment.

At the workshop, delegates focused on clarifying 3 core groups of issues including: Legal regulations on electricity, energy saving and efficient use to protect the environment; Decree 06/2022/ND-CP, dated January 7, 2022 of the Government on regulations on greenhouse gas emission mitigation and ozone layer protection; Decree 119/2025/ND-CP of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 06/2022/ND-CP regulating greenhouse gas emission mitigation and ozone layer protection; implementation steps and effective solutions for businesses to apply greenhouse gas emission mitigation.

Energy saving expert, lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology Bui Thanh Hung presented the topic "Disseminating legal regulations on electricity, using energy economically and effectively to protect the environment"

With the goal of "Giving tools - Solving difficult problems", the workshop helps agencies and businesses update information, support units to fulfill their responsibility of protecting the environment in production and business activities. In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade continues to advise the Provincial People's Committee on support mechanisms, simplify appraisal procedures and connect green financial resources, and at the same time be a reliable bridge, accompanying the business community of the province on the path towards sustainable development./.
