Workshop 'Solutions for developing unique tourism products in Tay Ninh province: Theory and practice'

On the morning of December 5, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University), the People's Committee of Tan Tay Commune (Tay Ninh Province) organized a space to display OCOP products, typical agricultural tourism models and a scientific workshop on "Solutions to develop specific tourism products in Tay Ninh province: Theory and practice". Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa attended.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition space is within the framework of the Forum “Promoting agricultural and rural tourism in regional linkages” held in Tay Ninh province. The exhibition space is a place for trade and connection between tourism businesses and OCOP entities, aiming to promote agricultural and rural tourism and contribute to the development of Vietnam tourism.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa hoped that Tay Ninh tourism would continue to develop strongly, in which Tan Tay commune with Tan Tay apricot village needs to be promoted more widely, becoming a destination known to many domestic and foreign tourists. He hoped that through the workshop, there would be more sharing and practical solutions to help Tan Tay apricot village develop sustainably.

Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Thi Thu Trang - Head of the Department of Geography, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City National University, reported on the conference opening.

At the workshop, delegates presented 5 papers, focusing on orientations and solutions to build unique tourism products based on the province's outstanding ecological conditions and resources; develop unique culinary products; exploit cultural and ecological aspects in unique tourism; build products from tourism stories through the perspective of travel and develop smart tourism in the sustainable era./.
