Right from the first days of entering the People's Security University, young student Nguyen The Ngoi soon determined that studying and practicing according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology is the foundation for growing up in a disciplined environment. The achievement of being a good student throughout the course and a Party member who successfully completed his tasks in the 2016-2017 school year is the result of his many efforts during his years in the classroom.

After graduating in 2017, Mr. Ngoi worked at the Security Team, Chau Thanh District Police. This was also a period of testing his mettle as he faced many sensitive and complicated cases related to internal security, national security and religion.
With the spirit of proactively staying close to the area and grasping the situation, Mr. Ngoi advised the leaders on many effective solutions, promptly preventing the sabotage plots of hostile forces, maintaining political stability and social order and safety. In his daily work, he is dedicated, close to the people, listening to the people and handling documents according to the correct procedures, not letting them backlog, avoiding causing trouble for the people.
From 2020 to June 2025, he held the positions of Deputy Chief of Police of Hoa Hoi Commune and Bien Gioi Commune, and completed his professional tasks, spreading the image of a close and humane police officer.
In particular, with the concurrent role of Deputy Secretary of the Commune Youth Union, Captain Nguyen The Ngoi left many beautiful impressions in the hearts of border residents through many meaningful Union activities such as giving 300 gifts worth 150 million VND to families in difficult circumstances, students and disadvantaged union members.
The Bookcase for Children program in border communes with basic legal documents, children's stories, textbooks and reference books helps children have more useful learning resources. In addition, his initiative to accompany backward, disadvantaged youth with a history of law violations has helped many youth overcome their inferiority complex, raise their awareness of law compliance and integrate into the community.

From July 1, 2025, Captain Nguyen The Ngoi will take on the position of Deputy Chief of Chau Thanh Commune Police, Tay Ninh Province, in charge of crime prevention, investigation and case handling - tasks that require courage, in-depth professional knowledge and the ability to handle situations.
With determination and a firm grasp of the situation, he directed the force to eliminate 5 cases, prosecute 12 defendants related to the act of organizing the use, trading and illegal possession of drugs; clarify 4 cases of property theft and prosecute 4 defendants. As an investigator, he received 20 reports, advised on the resolution of 13 reports, and simultaneously handled 17 cases with 26 defendants, of which 7 cases with 11 defendants were concluded for investigation and transferred to the People's Procuracy for prosecution.
After the administrative unit merger, Chau Thanh commune has more than 50,000 people, so the work of ensuring security and order in the area is more complicated. "I will continuously study and improve my professional qualifications to grasp, forecast and promptly resolve arising problems. I also continue to innovate the content and methods of Union activities in a practical direction, strengthen education on revolutionary ideals, ethics and lifestyle for union members and youth; propose plans to organize volunteer activities for the community, improve the quality of the movement "Young Police officers study and practice according to Uncle Ho's Six Teachings", at the same time promote the vanguard role of union members in digital transformation, administrative reform and breakthrough tasks of the unit" - Captain Nguyen The Ngoi shared more.
With his persistent efforts, Captain Nguyen The Ngoi was honored to receive many noble awards: Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Public Security for outstanding achievements in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level in 2025; Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee for studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the period 2015-2025; Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union with an Encouragement Prize in the writing contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security's Traditional Day.
In particular, in 2023, he was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Public Security as an "Outstanding Young Police Face". His journey of struggle is not only a story of courage and responsibility but also a vivid demonstration of the image of the young generation of the Provincial Police who are always ready to contribute to the peaceful life and happiness of the People.
A teacher devoted to students, creative in Team work
After studying and learning Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, Mr. Nguyen Huynh Trung Giang - Head of the Youth Union of Cau Khoi Secondary School (Cau Khoi Commune), is more deeply aware of the responsibility of a Party member and a teacher towards the young generation. In professional work, he seriously innovates teaching, testing and assessment methods in the direction of developing students' qualities and abilities, encouraging the spirit of initiative and self-study of each student.

Through extracurricular activities, the teacher integrates propaganda about Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality, arousing students' self-awareness and interest in learning. Thanks to that, the school's learning movement has achieved many results: The Youth Union has conducted 3,568 good lessons, of which 1,025 lessons were achieved in the 2024-2025 school year; for many consecutive years, the organization has recognized the title of Uncle Ho's Good Children for 320 students and honored 215 good people and good deeds.
The teacher's spirit of learning and following Uncle Ho's example is also shown through his proactive organization of small but practical tasks such as saving electricity and water, keeping the school clean, and using time effectively. Especially, during the activities of the Youth Union, through the school's radio program, teacher Giang has spread the spirit of patriotism, love for the sea and islands to the students.
A highlight is the program “Team members with the homeland sea and islands - Truong Sa Landmark model”. The Truong Sa Landmark model placed in the school yard helps students to be more aware of the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland and the strategic position of the Truong Sa - Hoang Sa archipelago. Teacher Giang also organized many question and answer activities related to Vietnam's sea and islands and the program sent 30 gifts including books, notebooks, backpacks, and school supplies with a total cost of 30 million VND to the students.
“When I teach the children the simple things that Uncle Ho taught: knowing how to love, knowing how to share, knowing how to study and practice every day, I hope they understand that studying and following Uncle Ho's example is not something lofty but starts with small things like saving, helping friends, keeping the school clean. Seeing the children change from awareness to action, I am very happy. That is also a great value in the work of the Youth Union and studying and following Uncle Ho's example in school" - Mr. Giang confided.

As the former Head of the Duong Minh Chau Team Leader Club, Mr. Giang regularly advises on organizing skill-building activities for colleagues, especially new leaders. From the spirit of mutual support, the Club regularly maintains many volunteer activities.
A typical example is the volunteer Pink Scarf program with 4 rounds each year, awarding scholarships worth more than 15 million VND to poor students. The club also mobilized members to support the construction of Red Scarf Houses, and in the 2024-2025 school year alone, 2 houses worth more than 70 million VND each were completed; to date, more than 10 houses have been built for team members in difficult circumstances.
In addition, from the 2024-2025 school year until now, he has deployed and maintained the Zero-Dong Canteen model. Every month, students will bring gifts or school supplies, clothes, and personal items that are still usable to the canteen to give to students in difficult circumstances.
In the last school year, the model gave 52 gifts worth 16.5 million VND to the students. Along with that, the Piggy Bank and Helping Friends Go to School movement, built and maintained by Mr. Giang every year, gave 68 gifts, 54 scholarships and 14 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 137.6 million VND. Of which, 65 million VND was mobilized in the 2024-2025 school year alone.
“With the spirit of young people doing small things, the model has the meaning of educating students in ethics and personality, through which they are imbued with the spirit of “helping each other”, knowing how to care and sympathize with friends” - Mr. Giang shared.
Not only outstanding in Team activities, in expertise, he has many times achieved high achievements in competitions for excellent teachers at school and provincial levels. With his dedication and creativity in Team work and teaching, for many consecutive years, Mr. Giang has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
In addition, he also received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister, a certificate of merit from the Central Council of Young Pioneers, a certificate of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, and a certificate of merit from the Provincial Party Committee in recognition of his positive contributions to education. After 20 years of working at Cau Khoi Secondary School, for Mr. Giang, the happiest thing is to see his beloved students grow up day by day. That is also the result of "studying and following Uncle Ho's example" demonstrated through perseverance, responsibility and love for students.
Happiness is giving
In the outskirts of the city, Mrs. Bui Thi Ut (residing in Tho Phu 1 quarter, Long An ward) - a party member and retired teacher has spent many years doing volunteer work, contributing to the development of her hometown. Regularly at around 5 pm every day (except Sunday), some parents and relatives take their children to the free class taught by Mrs. Ut at home.
“My child has been studying in Ms. Ut’s class since its inception. Every day, my husband and I work for money and don’t have much time to care for our child’s studies, so we rely on Ms. Ut a lot! Seeing our child become more obedient and progress in his studies, my husband and I are very happy!” - Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Van, a parent whose child is studying in Ms. Ut’s class, shared.

At the age of 72, when many people choose to rest and live a leisurely life, Mrs. Ut is still tirelessly dedicating herself to the career of "cultivating people". From 2022 to now, her free class has accepted many primary school students in and outside the ward. The special thing about this class is that it does not discriminate against family circumstances, as long as the parents register, she will accept them. Currently, her class has about 60 students. She teaches 6 days a week and has Sundays off. The classroom is more than 20 square meters wide and was renovated from her family's hallway. Although she is old, she still tries to learn, study and apply information technology to teach the children. “I think, people with money will help with material things, but those with heart will help children gain knowledge, which will later serve their own lives and society. Before, I taught in the traditional way, but now, I teach on computers and TV to make the lessons more lively, helping children learn quickly and remember for a long time,” said Mrs. Ut.
With 33 years of experience teaching at schools and the heart of a retired teacher, Ms. Ut is always dedicated and patient in guiding the children little by little. “I have been studying in Ms. Ut’s class since grade 2. I love studying here! The class is fun, Ms. Ut has a very engaging way of teaching. We get to count numbers, do calculations,…” - Nguyen Ngoc Tuyen - a 5th grade student in the class, confided.
Not only do they learn letters and numbers, but when they come to Mrs. Ut's class, they are also taught how to be a good person and behave politely towards everyone. "Previously, I taught Civic Education at a primary school in a remote area of the province and witnessed many young children whose families did not have the means to pay little attention to their children's education. Moreover, at the primary level, children need to be taught not only culture but also psychological understanding so that they have a foundation for their future development. Love for children is also the motivation for me to maintain this class. This is also how I learned from Uncle Ho the love for children," Mrs. Ut confided.

In order for her students to absorb the lessons best, Mrs. Ut divided them into groups according to each grade level to teach. Up to now, many cases have become more progressive in their studies. Not only devoted to her students, she is also an exemplary party member, actively participating in the construction of new rural areas and advanced new rural areas of Huong Tho Phu commune, Tan An city (before the merger). In 2009, she was elected by the people of the hamlet as Deputy Secretary of the hamlet Party Cell. In the work of Party building, she focuses on improving the quality of Party cell activities and the team of cadres and party members.
In Hamlet 3, Huong Tho Phu Commune in the past, the name "Miss Ut" was not unfamiliar because she always stood side by side with the people in implementing local projects. Responding to emulation movements, she often went to each household to mobilize road construction, build civilized roads, cultural hamlet gates, light up the countryside roads, etc. When the locality had a policy to asphalt the 1km long Dang Ngoc Suong road, she mobilized people to voluntarily donate land, architectural objects, crops, and she herself donated nearly 200m2 of land, worth hundreds of millions of VND, to work with the State to asphalt the road. In particular, she twice demolished the corner of the fence in front of her house to expand the rural traffic road.
Mrs. Ut confided: “Happiness is giving… Every day, seeing children being good and studying well or people traveling conveniently on the road that I contributed to, I feel happy. Now, I am old, so I just hope to have good health so that I can continue the work I am doing.”
With the above achievements, over the years, Ms. Ut has been recognized and rewarded by all levels. Most recently, she was one of the individuals receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Long An province (now Tay Ninh) for her outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the period 2016-2025.
Affirming youthful courage, contributing to building the homeland
In the era of technology 4.0, digital transformation has become an inevitable and objective requirement, creating momentum for development. Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu, formerly the Secretary of the Youth Union of Phuoc Lam commune, Can Giuoc district, now the Deputy Chief of the Office of the Party Committee of My Loc commune, has pioneered and boldly applied information technology in studying, production and life.

Before implementing the 2-level local government model, as the commune's Youth Union leader, Mr. Vu launched many exciting and practical emulation movements, attracting many union members and students to participate. In particular, the Commune Youth Union took advantage of the Internet and social networks to promote solidarity and gather youth. That is, exploiting and effectively using platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, TikTok, etc. to connect young people in cyberspace.
At the same time, he also updated the news and propaganda articles through applications: Canva, Capcut, Viettel AI, ... contributing to making the social networking sites managed by the Youth Union more vivid and more intuitive. Mr. Vu shared: “Uncle Ho is a shining example of self-study and lifelong learning. Learning and following Uncle Ho's example is learning the spirit of lifelong learning. For every young person, in the era of integration and digital transformation, self-study is no longer a choice but a mandatory requirement. For me, the most important self-study is reading. The digital age helps us to read from many sources, broaden our understanding, and update information for ourselves."
Promoting the advantages of the Youth Union in quickly adapting to digital transformation as well as meeting the requirements in the digital age, recently, he and the Executive Committee of the Commune Youth Union have deployed many models and tasks of the Youth Union associated with digital transformation such as: Digital library, digitizing historical relics in the area, digitizing roads, building a model of Digitalizing the space of Ho Chi Minh Museum, Smart residential area associated with digital transformation, etc. Thereby, contributing to improving the digital capacity of union members, Youth Union members as well as people in the community.
Mr. Vu also effectively implemented the 1+1 policy of the Youth Union: "Each member introduces at least 1 youth to join the Youth Union or Association"; established a non-state enterprise youth union branch, 3 worker youth unions, 1 ethnic minority youth union branch, 1 volunteer youth club, 5 hobby clubs such as football, badminton, digital transformation, etc.
He also regularly organizes volunteer activities for community life, takes the lead in building advanced new rural communes and social security activities: Implementing the project of Lighting up the countryside roads, Flowering electric poles, Mural wall with messages, Filial children, Foster children of the Union, etc. Phuoc Lam Commune Union is one of the units that maintains and effectively promotes youth start-up models; applying digital technology in management, product production, service provision, transportation, promotion, product consumption and other contents in the production and business process, etc.

He was also honored to be one of two individuals from Long An province to receive the Ly Tu Trong Award in March 2025 - an award presented by the Central Youth Union to outstanding and outstanding Youth Union officials nationwide.
“I feel lucky to work in the Youth Union environment. The Youth Union teaches me a lot and helps me grow up every day. The Ly Tu Trong Award has given me strength and is a great source of motivation for me to continue to strive and contribute in my work,” said Mr. Vu.
