At the same time, he requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to properly perform the state management function in the forestry sector.

Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Forest Protection Department requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to strengthen propaganda and dissemination to organizations, households and individuals not to hunt, trap, arbitrarily raise or plant the above-mentioned forest animals and plants. When there is a need to raise or plant, organizations or individuals must notify the People's Committees at the commune level, the Veterinary Department and the Forest Protection Department to be guided on the procedures for registering facility codes, legal documents of origin and regulations on environment, veterinary, and housing conditions according to regulations.

At the same time, coordinate the management of breeding and planting facilities to ensure strict compliance with environmental and veterinary regulations.

Regarding organizations, households and individuals, they must open a logbook to monitor and report changes in raised and planted species; review and ensure that they meet the required conditions. Facilities that do not have a breeding and planting code must promptly complete the application for a code. Before breeding or planting endangered, precious, rare species or endangered wild species listed in the CITES Appendix, organizations and individuals must be granted a facility code according to regulations.
Khanh Hoa Forest Protection Department also requested the subordinate Forest Protection Units to closely coordinate with local authorities; review and manage breeding and planting facilities; ensure registration, open monitoring books, update accurate information and reflect actual operations. At the same time, strictly handle violations, guide facilities to complete code issuance dossiers and strengthen propaganda and dissemination of laws in this field.

Most recently, on October 17, people discovered and caught a 2m long python on a tree in Nam Nha Trang ward. A few days earlier, staff at a hospital in Nha Trang ward also discovered a python crawling in the hospital hallway.
