On December 5, according to Dan Tri reporter, the garbage transfer site at the end of 19/5 Street (West Nha Trang Ward), located next to Vietnam Singapore International School, was completely collected by the environmental agency.

In addition to cleaning up the trash, authorities also put up ropes to prevent people from continuing to collect trash in this area.

According to a representative of Nha Trang Urban Environment Company, after receiving feedback from Dan Tri newspaper, the school and the locality, the unit stopped bringing garbage to the collection point at the end of May 19th Street.

From the night of December 3 to the morning of December 4, the garbage transfer site here was basically cleaned up.

In the coming time, the environmental sector will choose another more suitable transit point to avoid affecting people's lives.

As Dan Tri reported, parents of children studying at the Vietnam Singapore International School discovered a “mountain of garbage” on May 19th Street when they surveyed the classrooms before students returned to school. They were concerned that the piled-up garbage would pollute the environment and affect the health and learning of the students.

Parents said they sympathized with the environmental sector when the amount of garbage suddenly increased after the historic flood, but choosing an area near the school as a transfer point was unacceptable, so they requested to move it to another location.

Receiving the feedback, the authorities of Khanh Hoa province have intervened, handled the situation, and returned a clear environment to the school area.
