Agribank Dak Nong Branch shares difficulties with people in flood-affected areas

A working delegation of Agribank Dak Nong Branch led by Mr. Than Van Chi, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union, recently visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support people who suffered heavy losses in the recent historic floods in the communes of Son Thanh, Tay Hoa, Hoa Thinh and Hoa My.

    These are all localities that were severely affected by the recent floods. Many areas were deeply flooded and suffered landslides; houses, properties, livestock, and crops were swept away or severely damaged. The lives of thousands of households were disrupted, many families were left penniless and in dire need of timely support from the community.

    In each locality, the working group of Agribank Dak Nong Branch presented 50 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, with the desire to share some of the immediate difficulties of the people. The total support fund of 200 million VND was voluntarily contributed by officers and employees of Agribank Dak Nong Branch.

    Mr. Than Van Chi said that supporting people in flood-affected areas is not only a social responsibility but also the affection and sharing of Agribank staff for the community.

    “Over the past few days, we have been following the flood situation in the eastern part of Dak Lak and have been deeply moved by the heavy losses that people have suffered. We hope that with the cooperation of all levels, sectors, organizations and businesses, people will strive to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives,” Mr. Chi shared.
