Donate breeding animals and animal feed to help farmers restore production

On the afternoon of December 4, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Base 2 (Tuy Hoa Ward), businesses operating in the livestock sector visited and presented livestock breeds and feed to support farmers in Dak Lak province who suffered losses in the recent historic floods.

CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company donated livestock breeds and feed to farmers in Dak Lak province who suffered damage due to floods.

Accordingly, CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company donated 20,000 chickens and 75 tons of animal feed, worth about 1 billion VND in total. De Heus Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated 20 tons of animal feed, worth 300 million VND.

Through that, businesses hope to contribute to helping people restore herds and production after natural disasters.

Speaking at the reception, Mr. Phan Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, said: "During the recent floods, natural disasters have dealt a heavy blow to the livestock industry of Dak Lak province. While this is the livelihood and main source of income for thousands of households, it has affected the lives and production stability of the people."

According to Mr. Minh, in the coming time, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine will closely coordinate with localities to grasp the situation, provide technical guidance, propose solutions to restore sustainable production, helping people to stabilize their lives soon after natural disasters. At the same time, continue to mobilize businesses to provide additional support in terms of breeds, animal feed, disinfectants, etc. to help people restore production as quickly as possible.
