Nearly 700 students and parents participate in the 2025 Job Fair

On the morning of December 6, the Provincial Employment Service Center (under the Department of Home Affairs) coordinated with Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School to organize the 2025 Job Fair.

Attending the program were Ms. Le Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training; Mr. Le Hai Ly, Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center; Ms. Tran Thi Thiet, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Principal of Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, Acting Principal of the College of Industry and Trade.

The festival attracted nearly 700 students and parents of Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School.

Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School is training 2,700 students in many professions such as: tour guide, e-commerce, automotive technology, information technology, traditional medicine, foreign languages, food processing... Each year, about 600 students graduate, this is a source of human resources with basic training, skills, meeting the recruitment needs of enterprises.

The job fair had 12 participating enterprises with a total recruitment and enrollment demand of more than 5,500 people, including: 7 units in the province: recruiting about 1,000 workers; 3 units outside the province: recruiting more than 4,000 workers; 3 units recruiting workers to work for a limited time abroad and study vocational training in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Germany... with more than 500 quotas.

The event also included online connection activities between the Dak Lak Provincial Employment Service Center and employment service centers nationwide to expand job introduction opportunities for students.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Le Hai Ly said that the Center has carefully selected participating enterprises, suitable for the industry and occupation groups that Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School is training. Therefore, this is an opportunity for students to grasp the labor market trends, learn about jobs in and outside the province and information about the foreign labor market, thereby choosing a job that suits their abilities and strengths.

Mr. Ly also informed that the Provincial Employment Service Center and Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School have signed a cooperation agreement in connecting jobs for students after graduation.

Accordingly, the Center increases the collection of recruitment needs from businesses; schools use this information to orient enrollment and training; helping students have more job opportunities right after graduation.

The highlight of the festival was the direct interview at the company booth. Students experienced the actual recruitment process, presented their application, demonstrated their skills and received direct feedback from employers. Many students were highly appreciated by companies and scheduled for the next round of interviews, or offered internships and probationary jobs right at the festival.

Students are supported by businesses, guided through the actual recruitment process, and presented with job applications.

The business side said the event helps them access a young workforce with basic knowledge, high adaptability and basic vocational training, suitable for the current technical recruitment needs.
