Hoa Son invests in infrastructure, promotes new rural construction

Identifying new rural construction as a major program, Hoa Son commune has focused all resources and promoted solidarity, determined to complete the criteria, striving to "reach the finish line" in the shortest time.

In parallel with launching the emulation movement "All people join hands to build new rural areas", Hoa Son commune focuses on mobilizing investment resources associated with the task of socio-economic development. Along with the effective use, maintenance and upgrading of rural traffic works, the commune invests in building standard commune, village and hamlet roads, in accordance with planning and connecting to the provincial traffic system.

At the same time, the commune effectively implements the planning and development plan for the production of local key commodities associated with restructuring agricultural production, gradually building linkage chains and specialized areas in agricultural production. The commune also invests in building educational facilities that meet national standards; increases the rate of trained workers with jobs; improves the quality of primary health care for the people...

Investment in the domestic water supply system is also focused on ensuring clean water supply for 100% of households in the area; actively building bright, green, clean and beautiful countryside. The commune continues to replicate the self-management model on security; propagate and mobilize people to participate in the movement "All people protect national security".

According to the People's Committee of Hoa Son commune, in recent times, the New Rural Development Program has always received the attention of leadership, timely direction, and drastic management from superiors. Thanks to that, the implementation has been basically guaranteed, consistent with reality, and achieved initial results. People's lives have been stable. In particular, people have promoted their role as the main subject, contributing to infrastructure construction. The economy has developed in a sustainable direction, agriculture has been associated with industry and services; the ecological environment has been protected; national defense and security have been maintained; and per capita income has increased.

Hoa Son commune was established on the basis of merging Yang Reh, Ea Trul, and Hoa Son communes of the old Krong Bong district. Previously, Yang Reh and Ea Trul communes were communes in extremely difficult ethnic minority areas. Hoa Son commune was the first commune of the old Krong Bong district to reach the finish line in building a new rural area (in 2020). After the administrative unit arrangement, Hoa Son commune has only achieved 13/19 new rural criteria.

The model of raising cows in Hoa Son commune brings high economic efficiency to the people.

To complete the remaining criteria, Chairman of Hoa Son Commune People's Committee Huynh Viet Trung said that in the coming time, the commune will call for investment and mobilize many resources to build infrastructure. In particular, focusing on building intra-field traffic, canals, and irrigation systems. The commune will promote solutions to guide people in applying science and technology to agricultural production to increase productivity; strive to put Hoa Son Industrial Cluster into operation soon; focus on developing tourism...

With the leadership attention of local Party committees and authorities, along with the consensus and joint efforts of the people in the implementation process, we believe that Hoa Son commune will "reach the finish line" of the new rural area on schedule.
