QNgTV- Since the beginning of the year, the production and business efficiency of Hoa Phat Group has continued to be consolidated with strong growth in the hot rolled steel coil segment.

Hot rolled coil steel grows strongly

The Group's sales of hot rolled coil (HRC) in October reached about 562 thousand tons, up 153% over the same period and up 18% compared to September 2025. In the first 10 months of 2025, Hoa Phat Group supplied the market with nearly 3.5 million tons of HRC, more than double the same period and completing 79% of the yearly plan.

Currently, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex (Complex) has 2 steel production projects in operation. Of which, Complex 1 has put into operation the 4 million tons/year project and is continuing to complete investment procedures to increase the capacity to 6 million tons/year. Complex 2 project is currently operating phase I on trial, with a capacity of 2.8 million tons/year; it is expected that by the end of 2025, phase II will continue to be tested to synchronize the entire HRC steel production line to reach 5.6 million tons/year.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Hoa Phat Group expects HRC consumption output to record higher growth, reaching about 1.65 million tons, an increase of about 38% over the same period last year.
