The 1st Congress of the Dak Lak Provincial Social Policy Bank Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of December 4, the Trade Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in Dak Lak province held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the congress were comrade Duong Quyet Thang, member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Board of Directors member, General Director of the VBSP, and 147 official delegates representing 345 union members in the entire branch.

During the past term, under the direction of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Trade Union, the Party Committee and the Branch Leadership Board, the Dak Lak Provincial Bank for Social Policies Trade Union completed 100% of the resolution targets for the period 2023 - 2025.

General Director of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Duong Quyet Thang gave a speech at the congress.

Trade union activities are proactively and creatively implemented, in accordance with the reality of the branch and locality. The trade union performs well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; focusing on propaganda, political ideology education, professional ethics associated with the motto "Understanding the people's hearts, serving wholeheartedly".

Emulation movements were organized practically and effectively; many professional improvement initiatives were applied to policy credit activities, contributing to the branch's excellent completion of its tasks.

Social policy credit capital has been invested in 100% of communes and wards in the province; helping nearly 315,000 poor households and policy beneficiaries access capital to develop production and create sustainable livelihoods...

Speaking at the congress, comrade Duong Quyet Thang acknowledged the results achieved by the Dak Lak Provincial Social Policy Bank Trade Union in recent times.

In the coming time, the General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies requested the Trade Union and the Branch Board of Directors to coordinate more closely with the local authorities and entrusted organizations to understand correctly and fully the capital needs of the people, thereby advising on the effective implementation of policy credit programs.

Comrade Duong Quyet Thang also requested to build a united, democratic, and disciplined working environment; promote the core role of the trade union in uniting workers, creating motivation for the entire system to complete its tasks.

The union needs to pay more attention to protecting rights, improving working conditions, enhancing the spiritual life of union members; pay attention to organizing cultural, sports and union welfare activities, creating long-term attachment to the unit...

General Director of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Duong Quyet Thang and Director of Dak Lak Bank for Social Policies Branch Dao Thai Hoa presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Dak Lak Bank for Social Policies Trade Union for the new term.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Social Policy Bank Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 9 members. Mr. Nguyen Duy Gia, Deputy Branch Director, was appointed as Chairman of the Provincial Social Policy Bank Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", 100% of delegates voted to pass the congress resolution, creating an exciting atmosphere for the new term.
