Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong has just sent a notice from the National Assembly Standing Committee on convening the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Accordingly, the 7th Session will open on May 20 and is expected to close on June 28. The National Assembly will convene at the National Assembly House and will be held in two phases. The first phase will run from May 20 to the morning of June 8, and the second phase will run from June 17 to the morning of June 28.
According to the program, this session will adjust the progress of 1 draft law, supplement 4 draft laws and 2 draft resolutions that have been adjusted and supplemented in the 2041 Law and Ordinance Building Program.
Specifically, the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations will be postponed to the 8th Session and approved at the 9th Session.
At the same time, the next May session will submit to the National Assembly for comments the following projects: Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue; Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended); Law on Value Added Tax (amended).
The Draft Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools (amended) was supplemented and submitted to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the Seventh Session according to the procedure at one session.
At this session, two resolutions were added according to the shortened procedures, including the draft: Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the addition of a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province; Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 119/2020/QH14 of the National Assembly on piloting the organization of an urban government model and a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city.
The National Assembly Standing Committee requested that National Assembly delegations coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to organize for National Assembly deputies to meet voters, collect voters' opinions and recommendations, and send a summary report to the National Assembly Standing Committee before May 10 for synthesis and reporting to the National Assembly.
Delegates are requested to send their question forms to the Secretary General of the National Assembly to forward to the person responsible for answering and synthesizing, and reporting to the National Assembly Standing Committee.
