In the first 6 months of 2025, Cuc Phuong National Park has achieved outstanding results in forest resource management and conservation, scientific research, environmentaleducation and ecotourism development.
Accordingly, the Garden has effectively implemented many domestic and international cooperation programs and projects. In particular, rescue and conservation work continues to be maintained strongly. Regarding rescue and conservation of plants: The Garden has cared for over 1,200 pots and baskets of nearly 100 orchid species; over 2,700 individuals of 20 gymnosperm species; and sown 10,000 seedlings of 25 native plant species...
Along with that, Cuc Phuong National Park continues to deploy animal rescue and conservation work in 2025 on the basis of using funds in accordance with the law, meeting animal welfare. Specifically, 32 rescues have been carried out with 254 individuals of 12 species. Typical examples include the rescue of 18 animals from Da Nang Forest Rangers, 150 palm civets from Lang Son Provincial Police...
Along with rescue and conservation work, the Garden actively maintains and operates eco-tourism products: " Revival Journey " program, " Going Home " tour, " Adding Green to the Old Forest " program, "Firefly Watching Tour" to experience the forest at night.
Integrating the forest ecological education program with the re-release work with the participation of tourists in the re-release events associated with the International Day of Forests (March 21); International Day of Biological Diversity (May 22); organizing the "Growing up with the Great Forest" Summer Camp in 2025 for students; Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths Race in 2025 with 2,380 athletes from 18 countries and territories participating; organizing the "Forestival" Music - Creativity Festival Program in 2025, with the presence of many famous singers directly participating in planting 1,000 native trees in the forest...
With many interesting and attractive programs suitable for many audiences, in the past 6 months, Cuc Phuong National Park has welcomed nearly 133 thousand visitors, an increase of more than 66%, thereby increasing revenue from services by more than 45% compared to the same period in 2024.
In the coming time, Cuc Phuong National Park will continue to affirm its pioneering role in biodiversity protection, sustainable forest development, environmental education and preserving natural and cultural values for future generations.
